Apologies but due to a clash with the LSV awards of excellence night at which a few of our members are nominated, we have had to move the venue for the Clubs Annual General meeting to allow as many as possible to attend.
We have access to a meeting room on the first floor of Life Saving Victoria Headquarters at 200 The Boulevarde, Port Melbourne, so if you have not seen the new facility this is a good opportunity to come along and see it. Doors will be open from 3.30pm for a start time of 4pm. Apologies for any inconvenience and hope to see you there.

| If you have been wondering what direction the club has been headed in, well so have all of us. Through reveiw of previous notes and a workshop held over Easter (2008) to gather feedback on where the membership would like to see the club head, the management committee spearheaded by 2007/2008 Iain Aird Best Clubperson, Julian Meagher, have developed the future vision of the club to see us through to 2013. You can veiw the strategic plan by clicking on the cover of ths Strategic Plan (right).
Now having seen where we plan to go, if you think that you can help us get there please contact any member of the committee and let us know.

What are the benefits of being a member of SLSA? Surf lifesaving is about satisfaction. Having fun, being physically fit, learning teamwork and aquatic safety skills, competing in surf sports, and helping make surfing a safer pastime. SLSA can offer a range of opportunities which will promote: • A healthy lifestyle • A sense of pride • A sense of responsibility and purpose • Positive social relationships There is a place for everyone in surf lifesaving. If you are unable to perform the duties of an active surf lifesaver, then perhaps assistance in the administration, communications or fundraising areas is for you. |
